Food A Week At A Time - Meal Ideas

A Week At A Time – Meal Ideas!

Happy Sunday and we’re headed into a busy holiday week — Thanksgiving.  I love Thanksgiving for so many reasons, but mainly it’s the time I get to share with family and friends that matters to me the most.  Yes, food is fun to make and I love baking pies to share with everyone, but it’s the laughter, sharing of memories and making new ones that really puts a smile on my face.

We’re kicking off the week with my Overnight Slow-Cooker Oat Groats.  You may have guests arriving and I know you have cooking to do, so give the family a warm bowl oats to start the day off right.  Tuesday is taco night and what better way to share a fun evening with guests arriving than with these Instant Pot Chipotle Beef with Chunky Avocado Sauce Tacos.  Wednesday is major prep-day for Thanksgiving, even if you’re bringing a casserole to turkey-day, so something simple is in-store like Potato Soup with Cheddar and Chives.  Thursday is Thanksgiving and it’s all about turkey — and if you didn’t plan and brine a turkey ahead — grab one in a bag and toss it in the oven.  Friday is leftover night and this Turkey, Potato and Cranberry Pizza is a great way to shake things up in the kitchen.  It’s savory and special and it’ll impress the best of em’.  Saturday is also a great morning to use up the last of the leftovers with Turkey Day Dressing Eggs Benedict and Cranberry Chipotle Hollandaise.  It’s a brunch treat that your family will enjoy.  Have a fun holiday week.
