There’s nothing better than roasting marshmallows over an open fire and sandwiching them between two graham crackers with a wedge of chocolate, but sometimes an open fire is hard to find. Â This recipe is simple, delicious and satisfies your gooey marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker desires without a lot of fuss.
A standard gas or charcoal barbecue is your source of heat and with a few ingredients, you have dessert. Â I love to use cinnamon graham crackers and Ghirardelli Chocolate to make them extra special, but the standard grahams and Hershey’s Bar is just as delicious. Â S’mores are such an American past time and with this recipe you can have them almost anytime.
Ingredients
1 bag large marshmallows
1 large Ghirardelli salted dark chocolate caramel bar or several squares
1 package cinnamon graham crackers
aluminum foil
BBQ or oven
To Prepare:
1. Â Preheat a gas BBQ on medium high heat for 10 minutes or turn off your grill if you used it prior to cooking the s’mores. Â On a 12-inch square of foil place half a graham cracker, 1 square of chocolate and 2 large marshmallows. Â Place the second half of the cracker on top of the s’more.
2. Â Wrap the foil around each s’more and set aside until they are all assembled.
3. Â Turn off the heat, if you haven’t already from previous cooking and place the s’more on the warm grill. Â Cook the s’mores for 10-15 minutes until melted and light char marks are on the bottom of the graham cracker.
4. Â Open each packet and serve your warm ooey gooey s’mores to your family and friends. Â Enjoy!

mmmm, yummy!!
