My Favorite Thanksgiving Dishes and Desserts!

I know most of you have your menu fairly set for tomorrow’s holiday feast, but for those of you still looking for some inspiration, here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving dishes and desserts that you may want to consider before you make a final decision.  A great side dish has to be something that makes your comfort food whistle sound, whether it’s dressing (aka stuffing), corn pudding or cornbread, or potatoes of some sort.  Thanksgiving desserts are the grand finale of the day and should also make your mouth water, even when you’re too full to consider one more bite of food.  Pumpkin pie or tarts are a favorite to so many, but apple and chocolate desserts have a definite place on the table.  Cookies are another contender, especially if you’re pinched for time or not that savvy in the kitchen –they’re an easy thing to put together quickly and bring along with you if you’re not hosting dinner.  Enjoy!
